Shipping & returns
When we receive your order we will call or email you with a confirmation. Typically orders placed before noon will ship within 24 hours. Orders arriving after noon on Friday will not ship until Monday. In the case of a back order we will contact you to offer a substitution or to hold the order. Back-ordered items ship free. You will receive an email once your package has been shipped with an estimated date of arrival. Please respond to the email that confirmed shipment if you have any questions or concerns.
We use Standard Flat Rate and Priority, United States Postal Service shipping because it is reliable and affordable. We do not sell outside of the United States and we will not ship outside of the United States.

If you choose the "Store Pickup" shipping option, orders placed online can be picked up at Hank a Yarn Boutique in Cincinnati, Ohio Pick up date will be confirmed with the confirmation phone call or email. There is no shipping charge for store pickup orders.
All Web Orders are final. If you find that we filled your order incorrectly, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the specifics. We will correct the mistake quickly and with no further cost or inconvenience to you.
For In-store purchases the following policy applies:
We do not provide cash or credit card refunds for returns. All returns to our store are handled according to the following guidelines:
- We do not accept exchanges / returns on sale-priced yarn, yarn that has been wound (either by us at your request or by you), books, patterns, needles, or accessories.
- Unused yarn in its original condition may be exchanged for a different product, or for store credit in the form of a Hank gift card, within 60 days of purchase.
